Using Onsight

1. How do I save a company?

You can save any company by tapping the "Bookmark" icon on their profile card. You can view all your saved companies in the Bookmarks tab.

2. How do I use the map's crosshair mode?

Tap the crosshair icon on the map to center your view on your current physical location. As you move, the map will update to show companies near you.

3. What do the different sort modes mean?

You can sort companies by Distance (closest to you), Relevance (best match for your search), or Recent (newest companies added to the platform).

4. How does the "Near Me" pill work?

Tapping "Near Me" instantly filters the map and list to show only companies within a walkable radius of your current GPS location.

5. How do I turn on Dark Mode?

Go to your Profile tab, tap "App Settings", and flip the Dark Mode toggle. This is saved to your device immediately.

6. Can I disable the map's pinch-to-zoom?

Yes! If you prefer a static map size, go to "App Settings" and disable the "Map Zoom Controls" toggle.

7. How do I update my phone number or address?

Go to your Profile tab and tap "Account Settings". You can tap "Edit" next to any field to instantly update your personal information securely.

Troubleshooting & Privacy

8. Why is my search stuck on "Searching..."?

This usually means your internet connection dropped while we were fetching data. Try closing the app or checking your Wi-Fi/cellular signal.

9. Is my personal data safe?

Yes. Your personal information (like addresses and phone numbers) is securely stored in our Supabase database and tied strictly to your authenticated session. It is never shared.

10. How do I delete my account?

To permanently delete your account and all associated data, please contact our support team using the Email Support button below.
